DAY 1: Friday March 17, 2017

The first day of the inaugural Pueblo Fest, better known as the 'Latin Coachella' got off to a fantastic start.  As I pulled in to the International Agri-Center in Tulare, California (site of Pueblo Fest) I starting seeing people with their lawn chairs, the "caballeros" (gentlemen)  with their "sombreros" (hats), and "botas" cowboy boots, all making their way to the front gates.  As I get closer to the front gate, I spotted RVs settled in, I've never experienced 'Coachella' but if I ever do, I would know exactly what to expect and all thanks to Pueblo Fest.
A quick recap of what is Pueblo Fest.  It's a 3-day (March 17,18 & 19) festival brining regional Mexican music, culture, food, and everything in between to the heart of Ag country.  Its spacious settings, which also host the 'World AG Expo' every February, brings folks from all over the world to Tulare, California.  Over 140,000 attended the expo this past February.  So, lets just say that Tulare knows a thing or two, about hosting large gatherings.  But a music/cultural gathering of this magnitude doesn't happen in Central California, actually it doesn't happen anywhere else but one place that I can think of, and that is 'Coachella'.  “This is the first-ever, regional Mexican music festival in the history of the United States,” said Arnoldo Avalos, president of the board of the Tulare-based Bold Production Inc.,  With over 50 artist committed, food vendors, DJs from all over, Mariachis, Custom Cars, horses, carnival rides, Pueblo Fest has everything and then some.
If the first day of the event had any indication of how things went, be ready to start planning on Pueblo Fest 2018! With headliners such as Grupo Intocable, Voz De Mando, El Fantasma, Los Morros de Norte, Las Voces del Rancho, and Las Fenix just to name a few, all playing on Friday night!  There are seven stages throughout Pueblo Fest, something for everyone.  The food is amazing, a lot to choose from, plenty of beer gardens, water, and drink stands around, makes for short lines.  Definitely plenty to do, and plenty to see, really makes for a whole day of things to see, and do.
Today is day two, and already under way, we'll have more exclusive content, behind the scenes look and much more.
